How to Keep Your Teeth Whiter and Stronger

Many people want Stronger teeth, but did you know that Stronger teeth are a result of healthier enamel. This is because enamel the outer protective layer of teeth is what keeps teeth white.

Here are some tips to help strengthen teeth.

1. Eat calcium-rich foods.

Include dairy products in your diet every day.
Learn to love leafy green vegetables.
Eat more fish. ...
Replace the meat in some meals with tofu or tempeh.
Snack on calcium-rich nuts like Brazil nuts or almonds.
Reduce your intake of caffeine, soft drinks, and alcohol.

2.Drink water instead of soda or juice.

Soda pop and sports drinks are okay as an occasional treat, but water is the best way to refresh yourself during and after physical activity. You'll feel more hydrated and energized. And since water has no sugar, no acid and no calories, your body and teeth will thank you!

3. Brush with an enamel strengthening toothpaste.

Use a specialized toothpaste like Pronamel® Strong & Bright. Its formula works to strengthen enamel and whiten teeth for a whiter* smile with twice-daily brushing.

4. Avoid foods and drinks that stain enamel.

Certain foods and beverages will certainly stain your teeth, these include soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, tomato sauce, red wine, coffee, tea, blueberries, grape and cranberry juices. Dark-colored drinks like colas (Pepsi, Coke, and even the diet versions) can also leave stains on your teeth

5. Don’t forget about the rest of your mouth.

Using a mouthwash that contains fluoride can help prevent tooth decay, but don't use mouthwash (even a fluoride one) straight after brushing your teeth or it'll wash away the concentrated fluoride in the toothpaste left on your teeth. ... Don't eat or drink for 30 minutes after using a fluoride mouthwash.
